My name is Marcus Nilsson and I have loved nature and the outdoors since childhood. I am truly passionate about fly fishing and spend most of my free time fishing or developing to new levels.
I own the fishing right on a stretch of the Vramsån River, just outside Kristianstad, and my father owns a similar fishing right in the same river about two kilometers away. That is where I grew up and put my first fly in the water in 1984. Since then, fly fishing has been a lifelong passion, and my technical interest has led me to delve into both casting technique and equipment. My ambitions have driven me to further educate myself and quality-assured my courses by certifying myself as an instructor through the international organization FFI.
For my own development, I also compete in Casting (Flycasting) and am active in the association Det Perfekta Kastet Kristianstad, which is affiliated with the Swedish Casting Association. Fly tying is also a great interest that I have had since 1986, when I took my first fly tying course.
As a certified fishing guide, it is important for me to focus on nature and fisheries conservation, and therefore I actively support various fisheries conservation projects.
